The 2024 Belmont Stakes won’t take place in Elmont, New York. It won’t feature a horse racing for the Triple Crown. It won’t be run at the typical 1 1⁄2 mile length.
And it’s still shaping up to be the most exciting race of the season.
As Belmont Race Track undergoes renovations, the Test of Champions has temporarily relocated to Saratoga Race Course upstate, where the distance will be shortened to 1 1/4 miles. That will make this a tremendous opportunity for a stacked field that includes Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan, Preakness Stakes winner Seize The Grey and other top contenders like Dornoch, Honor Marie and Sierra Leone.
The post position draw took place on Monday and we’ve got a full look at the results and morning line odds below. The 2024 Belmont Stakes is scheduled to go off at 6:41pm ET on Saturday, June 8 on Fox.
