One will have to understand that the New York Giants’ shakeup at the quarterback position is not doing much for the bookmakers, who see Big Blue as healthy underdogs heading into their Week 12 matchup.

Daniel Jones is now New York’s third-string quarterback, and Tommy DeVito has taken over as the starter for a second straight season. It is not nearly as dramatic a move as the one made across the hall at MetLife Stadium, where the Jets ousted general manager Joe Douglas — and spared their tortured fan base thanks to a bye week — but the move likely will not do much for the Giants. 

Even with the Buccaneers being without their top two receivers, they are expected to roll against the Giants as 5.5-point favorites. 

That is not nearly as bad as New York’s NFC East rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, who face a Washington Commanders team as 10.5-point underdogs. You know “America’s Team” is going through it when they play games at 1 p.m. ET.
