Urban Meyer among special guests at OSU Alumni Club of NYC’s golf fundraiser
The Ohio State Alumni Club of New York City is set to host another exciting fundraiser that will benefit Ohio State students from the New York City area. The event will be held Thursday, May 16 at The Seawane Club in Hewlett Harbor, N.Y.
Special guests include Urban Meyer, Shelley Meyer, Zach Boren, Bobby Carpenter, Jeff Heuerman, Cardale Jones and Nick Mangold.
Golf registration includes green fees, card, driving range, breakfast buffet, on-course refreshments, deluxe gift bag, premium evening cocktail reception and plated dinner.
Prices are $650 for a single player and $2,600 for a foursome.
Not a golfer, but are interested in the cocktail reception and dinner? Prices for a single guest are $225.
There are also opportunities for businesses and/or individuals to sponsor holes. Donations are also welcome. All proceeds from the event will benefit Ohio State students from the NYC area.
The man behind the event is Ohio State alumnus and rabid Buckeye fan, Greg Waldman. Contact Greg at nycclub@osu.edu for additional information about the event. Or to converse about the right guard competition. Seriously, Greg is as big of a Buckeye fan as you will find and we do not say that lightly.
As for The Seawane Club, here is the description per the OSU Alumni Club of New York City’s website:
“The Seawane Club is one of Long Island’s most acclaimed private clubs. Nessled in the heart of Hewlett Harbor, the historic golf course provides challenging play coupled with a stunning coastal backdrop.”
Again, you can contact Greg at the email listed above. And you can register directly for the event at www.nycbuckeyesgolf.com.
