Game 5 at Madison Square Garden was the Tyrese Maxey vs. Jalen Brunson show, as both star guards put their teams on their backs in an eventual 112-106 Sixers victory in overtime. Maxey led all scorers with 46 points and improbably tied the game in regulation with a 4-point play and a deep 3-pointer. Philadelphia stayed alive in the series with a 15-9 advantage in the overtime period, again led by Maxey, who also finished with nine assists and five rebounds.

Brunson played 51 minutes for the Knicks, took 32 shots and logged his third straight performance with 39-plus points. Down star forward Julius Randle, Brunson has absorbed a huge majority of the scoring load for the Knicks and has averaged 29.6 shot attempts per game so far in the series. Expect plenty of both Brunson and Maxey as the Knicks look to advance and the Sixers try to force a Game 7.
The 76ers and Knicks are set for a 9 p.m. ET start on TNT. Live streams are available from DirecTV Stream (free trial) and SlingTV (free trial). The game will also stream on Max.
