However, a separate source told Page Six that Rihanna traveled to New York City after appearing in Miami for the F1 Grand Prix. Additionally, the ‘Diamonds’ singer’s stylist was seen at the Carlyle Hotel speaking with the security team transporting her jewels. In an interview with Extra at the launch of Fenty Beauty’s Soft’lit Foundation, Rihanna shared that her Met Gala look this year will be “real simple.” She also revealed she was between two different outfits, and they’re “very simple-ish” compared to what she’s worn in the past to the event. “It’s gonna come to what my makeup and what my hair is going to do. We wanna play with that, but I have no idea what I’m gonna do with that. I’m showing up for dinner! Shout out to Anna Wintour,” Rihanna told Extra. The theme of the 2024 Met Gala was “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” while the dress code was “The Garden of Time.”
