Confirmed: The latest team in Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TGL
Another team roster for Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods’ Tomorrow Golf League has been confirmed.
The indoor ‘high-tech league’ was due to start on 9 January 2024 but its facility in Florida, the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, was damaged after a power outage.
Shocking images showed part of the roof collapsed and thankfully nobody was hurt.
Earlier in the month it was confirmed TGL’s first matches have been scheduled to air on the first three Tuesdays of January 2025 on ESPN and ESPN+.
The team rosters are now slowly starting to fill up and, at the time of publication, only Woods’ teammates and the San Francisco-based outfit haven’t been announced.

On Tuesday, TGL confirmed PGA Tour stars Cameron Young, Xander Schauffele, Matthew Fitzpatrick and Rickie Fowler will be the quartet representing New York Golf Club.
American hedge-fund manager Steve Cohen is the owner of the team.
Billionaire Cohen, 67, who is also the majority owner of MLB’s New York Mets, said: “New Yorkers expect and deserve the best, and we couldn’t be more excited to have four of the best players in the world serve as an extension of the thriving golf and sporting culture of our city and region.”
He added: “Rickie, Xander, Matt, and Cameron’s unwavering dedication to the sport, successful track records, and passion for winning is undisputable, and we look forward to watching them compete on golf’s newest stage.”
The aforementioned Woods will represent a team called Jupiter Links GC. His teammates haven’t been confirmed yet.
McIlroy will play for Boston Common Golf alongside Tyrrell Hatton, Adam Scott and Keegan Bradley.
It is unclear if Hatton will remain part of TGL after he joined LIV Golf for the 2024 season.
McIlroy has stated that he hopes the Englishman can still be part of the venture.
