Jason Kelce doesn’t get the Tom Brady roast: ‘My family is ruined, it’s so funny’

Jason Kelce will not be the next NFL legend to get roasted.

The future Hall of Famer talked about Tom Brady’s decision to be roasted by former teammates and comedians with brother Travis on “The New Heights” podcast.

“It was pure entertainment and I’m really happy they did it but I just don’t get the roasts,” said Jason, who retired this offseason. “I don’t know why people do it. Maybe I take myself too seriously … It was star-studded. The best part about it was how many just iconic NFL and celebrities of immense stature that were there.

“Not to mention the entire Patriots dynasty showing up for Tom. That being said, I really don’t f–king get it. I don’t get why people do roasts. I don’t get why they are a thing. Haha, yeah, my family’s ruined, it’s so funny, everyone’s laughing, it’s great, we’re having fun, yeah right.’”

Brady took more than a handful of barbs about his recent divorce from Gisele Bündchen and her relationship with jiu jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.

Bündchen — an insider told People — was “deeply disappointed” with the roast and the frequent attacks at her and Brady’s failed marriage.

Aside from a “massage” dig from roast master Jeff Ross directed at Patriots owner Robert Kraft, Brady seemed to handle the three hours of insults well.

Travis was impressed with Brady being a “good sport” while taking some “aggressive strays.”

“Oh my Goodness, that was unbelievable first off,” said Travis, who was fresh off trips to the Kentucky Derby and Miami Grand Prix last weekend.

“Everyone involved hats off. I had been in tears the whole last day just watching (comedian Nikki Glaser’s) clips. I wasn’t able to watch it live. I commend everybody because no one seemed to get their feelings hurt. It seems like everyone was having fun with it. But at the same time, that s–t had me rolling because of how at everybody’s neck people were going.”

The NFL brothers then pondered a question many have been asking: How much did Brady get paid by Netflix to subject himself to that comedic abuse?

“I take it back. I’ll do a roast. What’d you guys pay Tom? The one person I wouldn’t allow on the stage is Kylie,” Jason said about his wife of six years. “She knows too much … Every day I am getting roasted by Kylie.”
