Charles Barkley blasted New York Knicks fans after the orange and blue secured a 2-0 series lead against Indiana in their second-round showdown on Wednesday.

After the Knicks won 130-121 at Madison Square Garden, the NBA legend reiterated how the winner between New York and Indiana would get annihilated by the Boston Celtics in the Conference Finals.

Additionally, Barkley emphasized how Knicks fans deserve to be humbled by the Celtics as they are en route to advance past the Pacers.

‘New Yorkers y’all deserve it,’ the Round Mound of Rebound said on TNT’s postgame show. ‘Y’all think y’all the greatest thing since sliced bread. Y’all ain’t that good in New York. Come on man, you’re overrated.’

‘Just cause y’all make good pizza and good bagels,’ Barkley continued.

‘People think we care who wins,’ he said of the Knicks-Pacers series. ‘If the Knicks win, that’ll be good. I don’t care who wins. But I’ll tell you what: I would love to see they a** get stomped by the Celtics. That’d be great.’

‘I’m just saying, whoever wins this series gonna get stomped by the Celtics.’

Knicks fans have enjoyed one of their best playoff runs, which started with the second-seeded team beating Joel Embiid and the 76ers in six games. In Game 3 of the Philadelphia series, crazed fans made the two-hour drive to the City of Brotherly Love to pack the Wells Fargo Center.

On Wednesday, an overall team effort allowed the Knicks to take the steering wheel against Indiana, with point guard Jalen Brunson spearheading the effort with a 29-point performance. Donte DiVincenzo and OG Anunoby trailed Brunson with 28 points each.

Isaiah Hartenstein was two assists away from a triple-double with 14 points, 12 rebounds and eight dishes.
