New York Giants schedule 2024: 4 games that could be in prime time | Sporting News

The 2024 NFL schedule
for the New York Giants is expected to be released this week, which means we’ll get an idea of what the path to a potential playoff berth looks like.

After making the playoffs in the first season under Brian Daboll in 2022, everything fell apart in 2023. From injuries to poor play, the Giants limped their way to a 6-11 record and the No. 6 pick in the draft.

Despite this, the Giants continue to find themselves in prime-time games thanks to being in a big market with some intriguing players. That should continue in 2024 even if the path to a playoff berth isn’t as clear.

Here’s a quick look at four games on the Giants’ schedule that could be in prime time:

Giants’ potential prime-time games

1. Dallas Cowboys (away)

Whenever the Giants and Cowboys play, there’s a good chance one of the games will be in prime time. While the Giants made several moves this offseason trying to improve the roster, the Cowboys seemingly want to run it back with the crew they had last year.

2. Cincinnati Bengals (home)

Joe Burrow and the Bengals will be coming to MetLife Stadium at some point in 2024. Considering the wide receiver talent that will be boasting in this game, the viewership could be up. Former LSU wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Malik Nabers could provide solid heavyweight bout.

3. Washington Commanders (away)

Another game that will feature two LSU products. This time, quarterback Jayden Daniels will be on the opposite sideline. He and Nabers were teammates at LSU, helping each other become the No. 2 and No. 6 picks in the draft, respectively. They even had a bet that they wisely called off
to see who will win the Offensive Rookie of the Year.

4. Baltimore Ravens (home)

Anytime Lamar Jackson is on the schedule, the chances of the game being in prime time increase dramatically. The Ravens are one of the favorites in the AFC to be a contender while the Giants are still trying to find their footing in Year 3 under the current regime. Still, it could make for some fun matchups.
