Are OG Anunoby, Josh Hart playing for the Knicks in Game 7 Sunday vs. the Pacers?

The New York Knicks are hoping to advance to the conference finals when they host the Indiana Pacers Sunday afternoon in Game 7. This second-round series in the 2024 NBA Playoffs has gone the distance, with the home team winning every contest so far. The Knicks have been banged up all season and have two key players dealing with injuries Sunday. OG Anunoby is trying to bounce back from a hamstring injury he suffered at the end of Game 2, while Josh Hart is attempting to power through an abdominal strain he picked up in Game 6. Here’s the latest on both players ahead of Game 7 Sunday.

OG Anunoby, Josh Hart injury updates

Anunoby, who has missed the last four games, was upgraded to questionable ahead of Sunday’s contest. There’s a possibility he tries to play through the hamstring injury at less than 100% but he still seems like a true 50-50 call. Hart, on the other hand, is highly likely to suit up after playing through the abdominal issue for most of Game 6. He ultimately did check out for the rest of the game once the result was in hand for the Pacers but he should be good to go.

We’ll see if Anunoby’s status impacts Miles McBride in any way. McBride has been a revelation for the Knicks over the last three games, averaging 17.7 points on 47.7% shooting from the floor and 41.7% shooting from deep. He’s started the last two games for New York but could come off the bench if Anunoby is good to go. There’s a good chance Anunoby would be on a minutes limit if he does return, which means Alec Burks should also remain in the rotation.
