Former Blazers SF Josh Hart Gets All-Defense Votes
Portland Trail Blazers fans may recognize a familiar face when looking at the All-NBA Defensive voting records.
Josh Hart, who now plays for the New York Knicks, received three Second-Team votes, but it wasn’t enough to be named to either of the All-Defensive teams.
Here’s a look at who was named to the All-Defensive teams:
The 2023-24 Kia NBA All-Defensive First Team:
Bam Adebayo of @MiamiHEAT
Anthony Davis of @Lakers
Rudy Gobert of @Timberwolves
Herb Jones of @PelicansNBA
Victor Wembanyama of @spurs
The 2023-24 Kia NBA All-Defensive Second Team:
Alex Caruso of @chicagobulls
Jrue Holiday of @celtics
Jaden McDaniels of @Timberwolves
Jalen Suggs of @OrlandoMagic
Derrick White of @celtics
The Blazers haven’t had an All-Defensive player in a long time. The last player to represent the Blazers in this award category is Theo Ratliff, who was on the Second Team back in 2003-04, marking 20 years since Portland has had an All-Defensive player.
