Ahead of the T20 World Cup, Team India touched down in the USA, preparing for their pursuit of an ICC trophy. The initial group of Indian players arrived in the Americas, acclimating to the climate and adjusting to the time zones. They’re also enjoying their time in the city, seen exploring Times Square and mingling with fans, capturing moments with photographs.

Local fans in the USA managed to capture glimpses of the Indian players, offering Indian supporters a sneak peek into their activities before the marquee tournament. A widely circulated video shows Indian captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid being snapped.

Despite heavy rain in New York, a fan eagerly waited to snap a picture with Rohit and Dravid. The two remained patient, signaling for a cab. When the car arrived, they swiftly sprinted and rushed into it amid the downpour.

Before their warm-up match against Bangladesh on June 1 in New York, the Indian team conducted their inaugural training session. The weather was sunny and bright, and Hardik Pandya joined the squad from London.

Rohit, Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya posted snapshots from their inaugural training session in the USA. Currently, only the initial group of Indian players has arrived, with the rest, including Virat Kohli, expected to join in a couple of days. Kohli’s absence from the first batch was due to paperwork issues.

Following the training, the Indian team conducted a photo shoot showcasing their new T20I jersey. Rishabh Pant offered a glimpse behind the scenes with some candid photos from the shoot, capturing the players’ anticipation ahead of the upcoming tournament.

India are scheduled to kick off their T20 World Cup journey against Ireland on June 5 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
