The excitement is building up towards the start of the 2024 T20 World Cup in West Indies and USA. The 20-team tournament gets underway in Dallas on Saturday (Sunday morning in India), with a match between USA and Canada, but one of the marquee games in this tournament is the India vs Pakistan contest in New York on 9 June.

And while that match, which will be held at the Nassau County International Stadium in
New York
, is expected to be a full-house affair, the pricing of tickets for that game might leave you stunned.

The stadium holds a capacity of 34,000 people and with just over a week left for the contest, the prices of the tickets are increasing day-by-day.

According to the ICC’s official website, a total of six hospitality packages are made available at the venue in New York. These are —Premium Club Lounges, Diamond Club, Cabanas, Pavilion Club, Boundary Club and Corner Club. However, for the India vs Pakistan contest, all that’s available are just three of these packages.

Let’s now take a look at these three packages and the total cost per seat:

Diamond Club

According to the ICC, the Diamond Club is the “Jewel” of the Nassau County International Stadium and among all the packages, Diamond Club is the most expensive. Spectators can get a luxurious view of matches at the T20 World Cup, with the seats being placed right behind the wicket.

The club is completely air-conditioned, and the guests will get access to meeting cricket legends and pre-match field access as well. Apart from this, they will also get access to high-quality food and beverages.

Price: According to the ICC, there are a total of four categories of Diamond Club tickets. The price of one ticket n each category is a whopping $10,000 (Rs 8,34,323).

Premium Club Lounges

These lounges are available at the North and South pavilions, and is located behind the wicket. This lounge will give you a fantastic view of the pitch. Apart from food and beverages, guests can also buy liquor in these lounges.

Price: There are nine categories of premium club lounges and a ticket in each category will cost $2,500 (Rs 2,08,585.25).

Corner Club

The Corner Club at the New York venue will provide an “intimate and exclusive” feeling to watch the games. A total of 92 guests can be accommodated per corner and the club also offers outdoor buffet and a bar.

Price: Spectators can select from four corner clubs, with each club being priced at $2,750 (Rs 2,29,413.94).
