Keanu Reeves’ rock band Dogstar to play Central NY concert

One of the Wyld Stallyns is coming to Central New York for a rock concert.

Keanu Reeves and his alt-rock band Dogstar will perform at the del Lago Resort & Casino in Waterloo, N.Y., on Sunday, Aug. 18. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in the Vine Showroom.

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 7, at 10 a.m. through the del Lago Resort & Casino box office at 315-946-1695 or online at dellagoresort.com/entertainment. A VIP soundcheck experience is also available that includes a group photo with Dogstar.

Dogstar, which originally formed in the ‘90s, features Reeves on bass, Robert Mailhouse on drums, and Bret Domrose on guitar and vocals. The group released its third album, “Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees,” in 2023 after being mostly dormant for two decades as Reeves’ acting career took off.

Reeves, 59, is best known for roles in movies like “John Wick,” “The Matrix,” “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure,” “Speed,” “Constantine,” “The Replacements,” and “Point Break.” He’s also written the comic book series “BRZRKR” and voiced characters for the “Cyberpunk 20277″ video game and the upcoming film “Sonic the Hedgehog 3.”
