Belmont Stakes odds: Sierra Leone retains favoritism

Sierra Leone, the top choice on the morning line for Belmont Stakes 2024, was the favorite Thursday evening, a little less than 48 hours before the Triple Crown finale.
At 7:26 p.m. EDT, odds for Sierra Leone stood at 2-1 compared with 9-5 on the morning line. The Belmont will be his first start since his runner-up effort in the Kentucky Derby.
Seize the Grey, the fourth choice on the morning line at 8-1, was next in the wagering at 3-1.
Mindframe, the second choice on the morning line at 7-2, was at 7-1, and Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan was at 6-1 after being the third choice on the morning line at 5-1.
The win pool stood at $179,220.
