Justin Timberlake released, was arrested in New York for drunk driving | What we know

Justin Timberlake was arrested in New York for driving while intoxicated. He was taken into custody in Sag Harbor. The popular singer was later released without bail after being formally charged.

New Delhi: American singer-actor Justin Timberlake on Tuesday (June 18, 2024) was reportedly released from custody after he was arrested on allegations of driving in an intoxicated state in New York. The 43-year-old star was arraigned in Sag Harbor, on the eastern end of Long Island.

According to a news agency, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office has said that he was charged with one Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) count. The Friends with Benefits hunk is now asked to appear for his next court date, scheduled for July 26, 2024.

Sag Harbor is said to be a hot spot for celebrities and persons of wealth in summer. It is a coastal village in the Hamptons, located 160 kilometres from New York City.

Justin seems to be having a packed calendar at the moment. He has two shows planned in Chicago on Friday and Saturday. Next week, he is scheduled for New York’s Madison Square Garden on Tuesday and Wednesday.
