The New Terminal One, a dedicated international terminal, is being built in collaboration with The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $19 billion JFK Airport redevelopment project. Scheduled to open in 2026, it aims to provide a top-tier experience for Chinese travelers.
“We are honored to partner with Air China to deliver an exceptional travel experience for Chinese visitors to New York,” said Jennifer Aument, CEO of The New Terminal One at JFK. “Our focus on the Asia Pacific region reflects our commitment to becoming the preferred international gateway for Chinese travelers.”
Zhiyong Wang, General Manager of Air China New York, emphasized their commitment to offering world-class service in one of their key global markets. “Our collaboration with The New Terminal One will yield mutual benefits as we expand our presence in this critical market.”
Currently serving JFK’s Terminal 1, Air China connects Beijing and New York, pivotal cities globally.
Opening in phases starting June 2026, The New Terminal One will be JFK’s largest international terminal, boasting 23 gates across 2.4 million square feet on the airport’s southern side.
