“In Justin’s two decades of experience working at the highest levels of the IRS, he has been involved in several of the most high-profile transfer pricing matters involving major multinationals,” said Edward Kennedy, co-leader of Jones Day’s tax practice, in the statement. “His deep insight into examination, collection, litigation and settlement of tax cases will be a tremendous asset,” he added.
Campolieta said in the statement that the close working relationship between the firm’s tax and business litigators make him “excited” to join Jones Day.
“This combination of tax and business-focused litigation experience and knowledge is really unparalleled, and I can’t wait to start contributing to such a uniquely talented team,” Campolieta said.
