Vanessa Tendo set for New York Fashion Week

Vanessa Tendo Naddamba, the Miss Manchester City 2024 will grace the highly acclaimed New York Fashion Week catwalk this year. The fashion week is slated to take place in September.

She confirmed the news on her social media handles recently and said that she is excited to be part of this event, which has only been a dream for a long time.

“I have always wanted to go to New York for this event and I am very happy that this year I will be part of it,” she said, adding that she had narrowly missed out on the opportunity last year.

This comes as a reward for her extra ordinary performance during the Miss England finals in Wolverhampton in May, where she emerged among the top 12 among in the pageant.

She used her recent tour to Uganda to do different charitable activities that included fundraising, donations and empowering the needy.

In Hoima, she visited Bwendero Sugar Factory, Miika Eco Resort Hotel and Mustard Seeds Orphanage. She also visited Kyebambe Secondary School, Rubaga Girls Secondary School, Nyabukara Primary School, Nyabukara Football Club in Fort Portal, Salaama School for the Blind in Mukono and Tooro Kingdom among other places.
