Giants begin countdown of Top 100 Players

There is no better way to tell a comprehensive history of the Giants organization than through the men who have worn the franchise’s uniform.

In celebration of the team’s 100th season, a group of individuals consisting of award-winning journalists, NFL and Pro Football Hall of Fame executives, and superfans set out to rank the Giants’ Top 100 Players, a list of the greatest players to represent this historic franchise over the past century.

Each member of the panel has either covered the team as a journalist or has a close connection with the franchise as an executive or fan. This list is the product of the hard work, spirited debate and incredible input from our esteemed voters.

I want to thank the 13-person committee – Pete Abitante, Ernie Accorsi, Judy Battista, John Berti, Linda Cohn, Vinny DiTrani, Bob Glauber, Joe Horrigan, Jay Horwitz, Peter King, Gary Myers, Paul Schwartz and George Willis – for taking part in this detailed process.

Now let’s get to it. In celebration of the franchise’s 100th season, we present the Top 100 Players in New York Giants history.
