Saquon Barkley No. 95 on Giants’ top 100 players list
As a member of the New York Giants, Saquon Barkley talked often about wanting to create a legacy. Well, Barkley is now a member of the Philadelphia Eagles and with the franchise’s release on Tuesday of players 91-100 on its list of the team’s top 100 players of all time, we can put a concrete definition to that legacy.
Barkley was voted No. 95 on the top 100 players list.
“I think for those of us who were on the panel, this was a really hard one to gauge what you do with a mid-career player who was so dynamic when he was healthy,” said Judy Battista of NFL Network, one of the panelists who voted on the top 100 list. “He is on the list because in my mind so often he was the offense when he was on the field.”
The Giants and Barkley, of course, parted ways this offseason. Barkley joined the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency.
