Summer League Game Thread: New York Knicks vs Charlotte Hornets, July 13, 2024

In Vegas today, the New York Knicks kick off their summer league schedule with a game against the Charlotte Hornets. Remember to hydrate, fellas, I hear it’s hot out there.

All eyes will be on the young players vying for a roster spot with the Knicks. Point guard Rokas Jokubaitis will make his SL return after a few years away, and we’ll see if he lives up to the hype. Another point guard, Tyler Kolek, promises to be one of the steals of this summer’s draft after being selected 34th by the Knicks. We’re salivating to see what he does in a Knicks uni. For many of us, today will be a first chance to watch 18-year-old Frenchman Pacôme Dadiet in live action. And the Knicks still need depth at center, so let’s see if either Ariel Hukporti or Dmytro Skapintsev is the second-coming of Hakeem the Dream.
