Moscot opens new flagship store in Southampton, New York

Moscot, the five-generation family-owned New York City heritage eyewear brand, has opened a new location at 63 Main Street in Southampton, New York. 

Spanning 860 square feet, the Southampton store offers a nostalgic experience reminiscent of its original Lower East Side Shop. With old-school tin ceilings, vintage tchotchkes, historical artifacts, and paraphernalia, the new location captures the essence of stepping into Great Grandma Sylvia Moscot’s living room.

The store houses the brand’s timeless sunglasses and frames with Custom Made Tints —handmade, dip-dyed lenses offered in over 20 unique colorways.

“We go where our current and potential customers are, and in the summer, New Yorkers retreat Out East,” said Zack Moscot, 5th generation and chief design officer. “We’re situated on a great section of Main Street surrounded by boutiques and restaurants, where locals and visitors come to mingle.”

This marks Moscot’s 11th store in the US and its 28th globally, expanding the brand’s presence outside New York City with its sixth location in New York State.

Moscot currently operates 27 shops worldwide, with locations in major cities such as New York City, London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Seoul, and Tokyo.
