TOWN OF FOWLER, New York (WWNY) – The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office has issued a no travel order for the entire county.

It’s due to flooding caused by remnants of former Hurricane Debby.

Heavy rain pounded the tri-county region Friday, causing flash flooding.

In Canton, viewers sent us pictures of submerged vehicles at the Route 11 underpass.

In Fowler, town Supervisor Rick Newvine says at least three roads are believed to have been washed out by flooding and heavy rain.

He says Popple Hill Road, Chub Lake Road and Bay Road are affected.

Newvile says there are numerous reports of damage and flooding on other roads in the town.

The town of Rossie says several roads are washed out there.
