Amidst Randy Orton Controversy, Knicks Star Shows Love to WWE ‘Goat’ Before Massive NYC Event

Randy and Cody Rhodes were having a simple friendly conversation. That was before the doors of the GOAT conversation opened. Rhodes, in reference to basketball, introduced the Jordan vs LeBron James debate. And the Viper bit with venom. “F**k LeBron” he said while disposing of his grounds for the GOAT debate. But does the NBA feel the same aggression and passion when debating the wrestling’s greatest athletes? Maybe not.

During the episode of the ‘Roommates Show’, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart spoke about the upcoming Fanatics Fest to be held in New York City. As part of the experience, the event will allow fans to immerse themselves in their WWE dream. They can walk out on the stage with the theme song of their favorite wrestler. Brunson was quick to ask Hart who he would pick. It didn’t take him long to answer.

“Probably Roman Reigns,” he told Brunson. Holding the record for the longest reign of any champion, the ‘Tribal Chief’ is regarded as one of the GOATS. Yet, Brunson winced, but not because he doesn’t like Reigns. “That’s a great answer but you could’ve picked someone from our childhood” he told Hart.

No hostility at all. The Knicks energized forward then revealed he would love to walk out as Kane. It could be due to his signature flame entrance that made millions a fan of the character. However, unlike Orton, the Knicks duo didn’t have any resentment when it came to the conversation.

Fanatic Fest is more than just a WWE dreamland

The Fanatics Fest, held in NYC from August 16 to 18, is a mega attraction, especially for card-collecting enthusiasts. Held at the Javits Center, the event will offer separate space for sports card trading, including the sale of some of the rarest collector items. Additionally, the lineup of athletes might be one of the most decorated across any event.

Think of the major names from the biggest sports leagues. They might just be present. From Tom Brady to Cody Rhodes and even Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the guests are all legendary. As part of the event, fans will have a chance to get autographs, and pictures and even have a chance to do live podcasting with some of their favorite athletes.

As an additional perk, Fanatics Fest is also providing an opportunity of a lifetime. They are encouraging fans to dress as their favorite athletes. The person who replicates their pick the best will be given a first-class trip to seven of the largest sporting events of the year, including the Super Bowl and WWE’s Wrestlemania.
