Dakota Johnson Brings A Boho Amulet To NYFW

Not long after Proenza Schouler preempted the official start of New York Fashion Week with a stripped-back show for 140 people, a handful of the world’s most famous women – among them Naomi Campbell and Dakota Johnson – attended the Bulgari Studio Party at the penthouse of The Refinery at Domino. The spring/summer 2025 fashion season has begun, and so too have the parties.

Johnson continued to play the new-age bohemian with a pendulous amulet swinging from her neck. The actor wore said mysterious jewel – a sort of Roman coin mounted on a crystal-encrusted life buoy – with an aqueous Gucci slip cut from muddy-brown silk, Gucci stilettos and a miniature Jackie bag. (Alessandro Michele’s go-to girl has yet to move on to Valentino.) Campbell, meanwhile, debuted a razored bob almost as severe as her world-famous bone structure with a stack of chokers wrapped around her throat.

The duo posed alongside Damson Idris and Paris Jackson to celebrate the launch of Bulgari’s new Tubogas collection – a queen’s ransom of serpentine necklaces, watches and bracelets – named after the somewhat less glamorous Tubogas tubes once used to transport pressurised gas in the 1920s.
