Beyoncé’s Nephew Julez Smith Models Edgy Crisscross Zipper Hoodie at Off-White’s New York Fashion Week Spring 2025 Show

Julez Smith, Beyoncé’s nephew and son of Solange Knowles, joined a starry front row at the Off-White spring 2025 show during New York Fashion Week on Sept. 8. The 19-year-old, who has been aligning himself in the fashion world, opted for an eye-catching look that encapsulated Off-White‘s signature streetwear edge.

Smith was dressed in a sleeveless black hoodie adorned with colorful, abstract graphics that infused his look with a vibrant, youthful energy. The hoodie, featuring shades of red, green and yellow, was layered over a crisp white tank top, offering a clean backdrop that allowed the bold graphics to stand out. A series of crisscrossing straps added a dynamic, harness-like element to his outfit, giving a nod to the utilitarian aesthetics that have been trending this season.

His pants continued the graphic-heavy theme with coordinating abstract motifs that tied the whole look together seamlessly. Completing the outfit were a pair of black sandals with red accents that added a relaxed touch, balancing out the boldness of the rest of his ensemble.

Celebrity guests on the front row included Tinashe, Mary J. Blige, Camila Cabello and Paris Jackson.

Smith has been steadily building his presence in the fashion industry, having made his runway debut at the Luar fall 2024 show during New York Fashion Week in February, where he walked in a statement-making voluminous leather coat. Supported by his mother Solange, aunt Beyoncé and grandmother Tina Knowles from the front row, Smith’s runway debut was a family affair.

Following up on his New York debut, Smith took to the runway again for Bluemarble’s spring 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week in June, where he sported a dazzling jumpsuit covered in crystal beads, complete with a hoodie and an embossed message on the back that read, “Are You Lonely? Call Me.” His European debut underscored his versatility and willingness to take fashion risks.

Beyond the runway, Smith has also been making waves with his off-duty style. He was spotted at the Marc Jacobs x Highsnobiety event on Sept. 5, wearing a vintage HBO Sports jacket with red seam lining over a Jacquemus T-shirt, and was seen in a graphic tee at the On Running Clubhouse Nights opening in Brooklyn on Aug. 21.
