New York-based fashion label Guizio opened on Tuesday its first-ever flagship store in the heart of Soho at 81 Greene Street.
Since its launch in 2014, the brand, founded by designer Danielle Guizio, has quickly become a favorite in the fashion and celebrity world. Over the past decade, the brand has primarily operated through its online platform. Now, coinciding with its tenth anniversary, Guizio is establishing its first brick-and-mortar retail space.
Designed in collaboration with interior designer Bradi Howe, the flagship store reflects Danielle’s distinct design aesthetic. The space features travertine walls, polished marble floors, and bespoke custom furniture.
The new store houses Guizio’s womenswear, alongside an exclusive new sneaker from Danielle’s ongoing collaboration with Puma, available only at the Greene Street location.
“It has been a lifelong dream of mine to open a store in New York City, and I feel so grateful to have this opportunity. I cannot wait to share it with our customers and supporters,” said Danielle.
“The store’s design is inspired by different aspects of my life. I have pulled inspiration from my childhood bedroom to create a sense of nostalgia. Embedded within the store are also signature Guizio colors that have been long lasting throughout our many collections. I wanted to bring the clothes to life, and this store is the epitome of the Guizio brand.”
Looking ahead, Danielle shared plans to expand the Guizio brand into even more categories and further its global expansion.
