Week 2 NFL player prop picks: Zamir White, Malik Willis, Jerome Ford among best bets

We’ve completed Week 1, and we hope to keep the good times rolling with our installment of Week 2 player props.

We started strong last week, winning three of four bets and tallying a solid 1.7 units of profit.

This is a nice piggyback off of the last two seasons, where we have shown off a strong 30.15 percent ROI on player prop wagers.

This week we get back to the long shots, with two bets at higher than 10/1.

Bet365 (Ariz., Colo., Iowa, Ind., Ill., N.J., N.C., Ohio, Va.) is a theme today and all season long.

They typically offer the best lines on alternate yardage props for players.

Week 2 NFL player prop picks

Zamir White over 11.5 rush attempts (+105, DraftKings) | 20+ rushing attempts (15/1 Bet365)

Antonio Pierce has said on countless occasions during the offseason that it is a major priority for him to get Zamir White the ball early and often.

“When he’s going downhill, it’s gonna hurt,” Pierce said, per CoachspeakIndex on X. “You really wanna see Zamir from carry 15 to 20, 25. That’s when it’s gonna be like, okay, here we go.”

Pierce was a part of the bruising Giants squads featuring Brandon Jacobs, and getting 20/1 odds on him to get 20 or more carries is a bit insane.

This is your best long shot of the weekend and we could see this bet more in the future too.

Malik Willis under 31.5 pass attempts (-110, DraftKings)

Malik Willis is the presumed starter of the Green Bay Packers with Jordan Love projected to be out in Week 2. Ouch.

Willis has started a handful of games, with his maximum pass attempts being 23 in Week 16 against the Texans in 22.

The Packers don’t really know him, he’s only been in the building for three weeks.

Asking a quarterback like Willis who we don’t know if he’s even a strong player to learn the playbook enough to drop back 32 times is a wild ask.

Another very strong bet here.

Betting on the NFL?

Jerome Ford over 48.5 rushing yards (-110, BetMGM) | 100+ (10/1, Bet365)

The Jaguars are getting a lot of respect at home against the Browns, but are we positive that their defense is improving that much?

They held what is presumed to be a high flying Dolphins offense to 20 points but there’s a lot under the hood not to like.

For starters, the Jaguars received the worst tackle grade in the NFL last week and had 14 missed tackles, the second-most in the NFL.

Jerome Ford is the bell cow in Cleveland we know what Deshaun Watson can’t do while throwing. Ford will be given every opportunity to run the Browns back to Ohio with a victory.
