Struggling Central New York 8-man football team forfeits next game due to injuries, illnesses

A Central New York 8-man football team that has not won a game since 2022 will earn another loss this weekend without even taking the field.

South Lewis football has forfeited Saturday’s home contest against Bishop Grimes, due to health reasons.

The Falcons are currently dealing with injuries and sickness on the team, Bishop Grimes coach Jason Wait told syracuse.com Friday morning. That has led to the low number of available players this weekend.
