Located at 42 Crosby Street, the Chamonix-founded brand said the upcoming New York store’s design will reflect the brand’s blend of “forward-thinking style and timeless heritage,” according to a press release. Inside, shoppers will find the luxury brand’s AW24 womenswear collection that includes its best-selling Aurora Ski Pant and Polar Flare Jacket, along with a number of new styles.

Planning is underway for the store’s opening in October, from where it will remain open throughout the upcoming winter ski and holiday shopping season from October through April.

“The seasonal presence provides an opportunity to explore the potential for more permanent retail locations,” said Perfect Moment in a press release. “The move is also supported by the brand’s success at several multi-brand high-end retailers, as well as New York City’s status as one of the top fashion capitals of the world.

Founded in 1984 in the mountains of France’s Chamonix, Perfect Moment is a high-performance luxury skiwear and lifestyle brand that blends technical excellence with fashion-forward designs, creating pieces that transition from the slopes to the city.

In 2010, British-Swiss entrepreneurial couple Jane and Max Gottschalk took ownership of the brand, appointing thom Humphris as creative director of the brand in March this year.

The physical store announcement follows record growth from Perfect Moment’s e-commerce business over the past year, according to the brand, with the move into bricks-and-mortar retail marking another major step.

In addition to its own e-shop,, Perfect Moment is available globally via MyTheresa, Net-a-Porter, Harrods, Selfridges, Saks, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.
