NYC Public Schools hiring for teaching and non-teaching jobs in new schools

NEW YORK (PIX11) – The New York City Department of Education is hiring for more than 50 positions in new schools across the five boroughs.

The jobs for the 2024 to 2025 school year are open for a variety of areas including teachers, paraprofessionals, secretaries, guidance counselors, and social workers.

New employees who work more than 20 hours a week would be able to take advantage of DOE benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, commuter benefits, employee discounts, and other financial incentives.

Starting salaries for teaching positions range from $62,902 to $86,491 depending on education and experience levels. Additional salary information for other positions can be found online.
