The Grade 2, $200,000 Miss Grillo, a 1 1/16-mile turf test
for 2-year-old fillies at Belmont at the Big A, has been canceled due to
significant rainfall and will be moved to next Sunday, the New York Racing
Association announced. It will be offered as an extra with entries retaken Wednesday.

The Miss Grillo offers a win-and-you’re-in berth to the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf on Nov. 1 at Del Mar. The race will join a card that
also includes the Beldame (G2) and the Matron (G3).

NYRA already had announced Saturday that the four other turf
tests Sunday, races 3, 5, 6 and 9, had been moved to the main track. The Miss
Grillo would have been race 8.

Cut back from nine to eight races, Sunday’s card will kick
off as scheduled with race 1 at 1:05 p.m. EDT. Post time for race 9, initially
scheduled for 5:13 p.m., has been moved to 4:48 p.m.

Any multi-race wagers that include race 8 have been canceled
and will be refunded.

The $1 Pick 6, which was to include an $83,911 carryover,
has been moved to Thursday and will begin in race 3. The first post for
Thursdays eight-race card,
which is headlined by the $135,000 Gio Ponti in race 7, is 12:40 p.m. EDT.
