Here’s a list of holes-in-ones through October 4 and other accomplishments by Central New York golfers:

Frank Volino, Sept. 29, on the 107-yard No. 8 hole at Woodcrest using a 48′ wedge. Witnessed by: Frank Volino Jr., Jeff Kline, and Phil Saucier.

John Tassini, Sept. 29, on the 156-yard No. 12 hole at Lakeshore using a 9-iron. Witnessed by Rick Connelly, Jim Marsallo Sr., and Angelo Alberici.

Christopher Walken, Sept. 29 on the 117-yard No. 8 hole at Glennwood using a 9-iron Witnessed by Joseph Ortlieb.

Andrew “Buddy” Kuczek, Sept. 25 on the 140-yard No. 16 hole at Dutch Hollow using a ping driver. Witnessed by Richard Timian, Tim Rice, and Mike Walsh.

Matthew Hoegler, Sept. 22, on the 135-yard No. 4 hole at Rogues Roost West using a 52′ wedge. Witnessed by Danny Williams, Sanders Shank, and Steve Bush.

Shoot Your Age

Hugh Lowery, age 80, shot a7 8 from the gold tees at Green Lakes on Sept. 27. Witnesses by John Kelly, Jim Price, and Pete Ganley.
