Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter reveal their very different New York Post fears from Yankees days

Derek Jeter claims he was mostly able to resist the temptation of reading The Post.

Jeter and Alex Rodriguez, part of Fox Sports’ studio coverage during the MLB playoffs, had a lively discussion about their awareness of the New York papers during their time with the Yankees.

Jeter said the Yankees used to put The Post and other newspapers around the clubhouse and that he didn’t read them very often — but knew that A-Rod did.

Mainly, Jeter said that he hoped not to be on the back page.

At this point, A-Rod joked that he didn’t care about the back pages — he was reading Page Six.

Both former Yankee teammates made the papers both for their play on the field and their love interests with starlets off it.

Past girlfriends of Jeter included Minka Kelly, Mariah Carey, Adriana Lima, Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel.

He eventually settled down, marrying former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hannah Davis (who became Hannah Jeter), and the couple has four children together.

Past flames for A-Rod, meanwhile, include Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Torrie Wilson, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez.

A-Rod is currently dating fitness enthusiast Jaclyn Cordeiro.

“She’s been a good influence with me,” A-Rod told The Post this summer, referring to Cordeiro helping him focus on his conditioning.

“I’ve been working hard and trying to stay in shape, and continuing to try to copy some of her great work ethic and health and wellness practices,” Rodriguez said at the time.

Jeter played for the Yankees from 1995-2014 and was part of five World Series championship teams while A-Rod’s time in The Bronx from 2004-16 included the 2009 title at two MVP awards.
