Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 7 game

play

A NFC East contest is on deck in Week 7 with the Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) visiting the New York Giants (2-4).

It was far from pretty, but Philadelphia came off the bye week with a win over the Cleveland Browns. Sure, there was the yelling from head coach Nick Sirianni to some unhappy fans, but maybe it fired up the entire organization to meet the high expectations set by the fanbase.

Even with some surprising play this season, the Giants still find themselves at the bottom of the division more than a month into the season. The offense was shut down against the struggling Cincinnati Bengals, but it was still without breakout receiver Malik Nabers. If he can return this week, the New York offense may be able to turn it around in front of the home crowd that will welcome its former running back.

NFL Week 7 odds, predictions and picks

Saints vs. Broncos | Jaguars vs. Patriots | Falcons vs. Seahawks | Bills vs. Titans | Browns vs. Bengals | Packers vs. Texans | Colts vs. Dolphins | Vikings vs. Lions | Giants vs. Eagles | Rams vs. Raiders | Commanders vs. Panthers | 49ers vs. Chiefs | Steelers vs. Jets | Buccaneers vs. Ravens | Cardinals vs. Chargers

Lorenzo Reyes: Eagles 24, Giants 14

With the return of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, the Eagles’ passing offense looked far better. Still, Philly didn’t necessarily put Cleveland away. The Giants, though, have questions on offense, though Malik Nabers should be making his return. New York is well-coached; Philadelphia has the better roster. I think talent wins out in this one.

Tyler Dragon: Eagles 24, Giants 18

The Saquon Barkley revenge game. The Giants thought they were better off keeping QB Daniel Jones rather than Barkley. Expect Barkley to try to make the Giants regret their decision. The Eagles will feed their star running back early and often.

Richard Morin: Eagles 30, Giants 12

The return of Malik Nabers could make this closer, but Saquon Barkley is looking for an excuse to explode. This seems as good an opportunity as any.

Jordan Mendoza: Eagles 26, Giants 20

New York fans got used to seeing Saquon Barkley run all over the MetLife Stadium field. They’ll see him do it again, only this time he’s on the other team and sending the Giants to a loss.
