The New York Giants experienced a scary situation with rookie Malik Nabers in Week 4. Nabers went up for a catch and came crashing down. The result of the hit to his head was a concussion.

Nabers was held out of Week 5 and Week 6 due to the concussion. However, he has been going through the protocols, and received huge news regarding his Week 7 status.

According to ESPN Giants reporter Jordan Raanan, “WR Malik Nabers (concussion) will have a full practice on Thursday. He will then meet with an independent neurologist later today if things go well to see if he’s cleared. Meanwhile, DT Dexter Lawrence (hip) and OLB Brian Burns (groin) will miss their second straight practice.”

Nabers is practicing fully on Thursday and will meet with a neurologist to get fully cleared. Depending on what the neurologist says, Nabers could be ready to start in Week 7.
