Breanna Stewart said that she played mad because the Liberty were down, and she felt as though if they were going to be that close late, Stewart was going to do everything she could to make sure New York finished ahead. Stewart finished with 30 points and 11 rebounds but in the fourth quarter alone, she had seven points, four rebounds and two blocks.

“You could feel the momentum was shifting to our side. They were up and their shots weren’t falling. It’s like, if we’re going to be this close, we’re not leaving here without this one. It’s really tough to play in this arena, but the way that we continue to stay together, I’m not shocked. But I am really proud,” she said.
