Brunson led the Knicks in scoring Friday and looks ready to go for the regular season, where he’ll aim to lead the Knicks to another high seed in the Eastern Conference. Brunson is coming off a career-best season in 2023-24, averaging 28.7 points, 6.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds across 77 regular-season appearances, and he’ll open the 2024-25 campaign as the Knicks’ go-to player on offense even after the offseason roster shake-up that led to New York adding two capable offensive players in Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges.
