The Steelers are coming off back-to-back victories using two different quarterbacks. Though they beat up the Las Vegas Raiders, 32-13, in Week 6 with Justin Fields taking the snaps, head coach Mike Tomlin decided it was time to put Russell Wilson in charge. The Super Bowl champion QB made the most of his debut with his new squad against the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football, throwing for two touchdowns and rushing for another in a 37-15 shellacking. If that was the offensive output we can grow to expect from the Steelers, then they are going to be a tough team to beat down the stretch.
Pittsburgh came into Week 8 tied with the Baltimore Ravens for first in the AFC North.
Nobody is expecting anything good from the Giants. To put it nicely, they have been terrible with the ball over the last couple of weeks. After scoring just one touchdown in a 17-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals two weeks on SNF, the G-Men put up a measly three points at home against the Philadelphia Eagles. If things don’t change and soon, the second half is going to be long for Giants fans.
The Giants are last in the NFC East, three games back of the first-place Washington Commanders.
The Giants are 44-31-3 against the Steelers, though Pittsburgh has won the last three meetings.
MY PICK: Steelers win, 27-10
