Sports Seriously
Two of the NFL’s most storied franchises meet on “Monday Night Football” in Week 8 with a game between the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers (5-2) won in prime time at home last week against the New York Jets in quarterback Russell Wilson’s first start with the team. They’ve won two in a row and can take sole possession of first place in the AFC North with a win tonight.
The Giants (2-5) have dropped two in a row and three of their last four games, including a 28-3 loss last week to NFC East foe Philadelphia. The Giants had a season-low 119 total yards on offense as the Eagles racked up eight sacks.
The Steelers boast one of the top defenses in the league and rank top-five in points allowed and every rushing category. The Giants are one of the worst scoring offenses in the league and could give pass rusher T.J. Watt and company opportunity to tee off in passing situations.
