2025 World Series odds: Where Mets, Yankees stand after falling short to Dodgers

The dust hasn’t even settled yet, as the Dodgers just won the World Series after the Yankees fell apart in The Bronx, but it’s never too early to look toward next year.

After taking out the Yankees in five games and with their stars all under contract, it’s easy to see why the Dodgers are favored to repeat as champions, coming in at +400 odds at ESPN BET.

The Yankees have the second-best odds at +700 to win the World Series, with no other American League team in the top four.

Two NL East stalwarts follow the Bronx Bombers, as the Atlanta Braves own +750 odds and the Phillies come in at +1000.

The Mets are slightly further down the list at +1200, tied with the Astros and Orioles for fifth-best.

If you’re looking to bet on a banner to come to Queens, BetRivers is hanging the Mets to win the World Series at +1700 odds, by far the highest odds on the legal U.S. betting market.

A bet for that is essentially a wager on a big offseason for the cash-flush Mets.
