More celebrity lookalike contests pop up after Timothee Chalamet success

Cher is giving fans an early Christmas gift this year, with a remix release of her festive tune DJ Play a Christmas Song.

The new version features Kelly Clarkson’s vocals too and as of midnight tonight, the song will be available to download.

And after the real Timothee Chalamet gatecrashed a lookalike competition in New York last month, other celebrity doppelganger contests have started popping up.

There was a Paul Mescal lookalike competition in Ireland this week and while the real Mescal was in the country promoting his new film Gladiator II, he did not make an appearance.

Crowds gathered in Dublin to compete for the grand prize of $30 or three pints and contenders all dressed in what has become known as Mescal’s signature look – short shorts and a pair of headphones.

And a Harry Styles lookalike contest is set to be held in London this weekend, so if you want to snag yourself a Harry, get over there, because that will no doubt be a very popular one.
