Will Giannis Antetokounmpo Play vs Knicks? Doc Rivers Reveals Bucks Star’s Status Ahead of Back-to-Back Outing

Is Giannis Antetokounmpo all right? For any NBA enthusiast, a key player developing a major injury is a matter of concern. The ongoing NBA season has seen quite a few of them, as everyone from Stephen Curry to Anthony Davis has been dealing with some kind of ailment. Fortunately, the question was answered for fans as the ‘Greek Freak’ was present to take on the Utah Jazz tonight. However, is playing one game after returning a sign that he is healthy enough for back-to-back games?

In the aftermath of the Bucks’ win against the Utah Jazz, Doc Rivers engaged in a Q&A session with media members. When asked about Giannis’s availability for Friday night’s game against the New York Knicks, the Bucks head coach wasn’t too sure, as he stated, “Yeah, he’ll be available I think. I haven’t looked at the injury report so I have to wait for that.”

Later on, however, Rivers cast a bit of doubt when he added “Yeah, we’re not…. he’s not gonna not play in back-to-back. So, um, there’s something wrong may be different and he only played 30 minutes  tonight.”

Giannis had a monster double-double against Utah, registering 31 points and 16 rebounds as the Bucks snapped their 6-game losing streak on Thursday.
