Survey: Who should start at quarterback for New York Giants?

It’s been a long time in coming, but we’ve finally reached a watershed moment in the New York Giants 2024 NFL season.

The Giants go into their Week 11 bye carrying a 2-8 record and are coming off of a bad loss to a Carolina Panthers team that’s been commonly thought of as the worst in the NFL. The Giants aren’t mathematically out of the playoffs, but their season is likely all but over.

Looming over the entire season has been the future of the Giants’ quarterback position. The team was open about wanting to trade up for either Jayden Daniels or Drake Maye in the 2024 NFL Draft. They were unable to make the trade and instead selected Malik Nabers and resolved to give Daniel Jones one last chance to prove that he’s The Guy for New York.

Instead, he’s been mediocre-to-bad this year and has left too many yards and plays on the field. The Giants also have to reckon with the injury guarantee written into the contract he signed following the 2022 season. Jones hasn’t been shy about running the ball this year, and a long-term injury would trigger his guarantee and severely complicate the 2025 offseason.

Head coach Brian Daboll previously benched Jones against the Pittsburgh Steelers and opened the door to making a change at quarterback following a poor performance against the Panthers.

So now we put it to you, the Big Blue View community: Who should start at quarterback after the bye week? Should Daniel Jones stay the starter, should it be Drew Lock, or should Tommy DeVito get the start?
