Trip To Wonderland: Jackson Elementary School Students Present Alice In Wonderland Jr. Starting Friday

FREWSBURG – Fall down a rabbit hole this weekend at the Frewsburg High School auditorium as Robert H. Jackson Elementary School students in third through sixth grades perform the musical Alice in Wonderland Jr.
Shows are Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $3 for students and seniors and $5 for adults. They can be bought at the door.
The production is directed by Sandra Meerdink and Kimberly Dilts. Both directors are teachers at Robert H Jackson Elementary School. Andrew Minton, hired this year to direct the elementary school band, is also part of the production team.
Alice is played by Eliza Roushey and Kadence Peterson. Small Alice is played by Alena Whippo and Tall Alice is played by Kali Pearson. The White Rabbit is played by Ethan Ecklof. The musical is narrated by the Cheshire Cat, who is played by Greta Gilevski, Audrey Gillies and Faith Peterson. The Caterpillar is played by Norah Meerdink. The Queen of Hearts is played by Brynne Wheeler and the Mad Hatter is played by Harper Waid.
The musical is based on the 1951 Disney Film Alice in Wonderland and the Novels The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll.
