Jazz Vs Knicks: Injury Report, Depth Chart, and More as Jalen Brunson & Co Defend 4-Game Win Streak

The two teams come into tonight’s match-up with two different battles, yet it’s the same. Jalen Brunson & Co. finally seemed to have found their footing with a four-game winning streak amid a shaky start. On the other hand, the Utah Jazz, which is yet to settle in the season, is on a 4-game losing streak. Only one team wants to build on the streak, though! Amid this equation, let’s find out the injury reports of both teams.

Looking into the Jazz side, the team came into the season without making many off-season moves despite many pursuits from other franchises. The team rested its trust heavily on Lauri Markannen and Walker Kessler. Even though the duo has shown regularly, it doesn’t seem to help them convert it into wins. On the other hand, Coach Will Hardy certainly wasn’t impressed with the team’s competitive spirit.

A few days ago, Coach Hardy went viral on his brutal dig at his players after the loss against the Lakers. He said, “In the second half, it seemed like everybody in the gym knew that Dalton Knecht was going to shoot the next shot, with the exception of a few people… The problem was that those few people were on our team.”

Amid this embarrassing situation, the team also has a disappointing injury report stacked with Jordan Clarkson (Questionable, foot), Walker Kessler (Out, hip injury), and Kyle Filipowski (out, ankle). Going with a short-handed lineup, the Jazz may struggle to break their streak.

On the other hand, the Knicks‘ injury report is unchanged, as the two bigs Mitchell Robinson and Precious Achiuwa continue to stay out, while the trusted reserve Miles McBride still hasn’t returned to action. And the remaining Knicks unit can extend the streak!

Jalen Brunson & Co. vs Jazz: Starting line and depth chart

So far, Coach Thibs’ strategies have gone according to the plan. Despite having a strong starting line-up, the Knicks could be one of the weakest rosters in the season. It’s because of a lack of depth. Unlike teams like Golden State Warriors and Lakers, which operate with at least 8-10 players in rotation, the Knicks have a real issue. The team is currently walking on glass pieces. If any one player suffers an injury, the team will fall like a deck of cards.

However, on a positive note, Mitchell Robinson, the starting center, has been cleared to start his basketball activities. So, the team can finally enjoy some depth in the days to come.
