Ravens vs. Chargers prediction: ‘Monday Night Football’ odds, pick, best bets

It’s a doozy on tap for “Monday Night Football” as Jim and John Harbaugh reunite for another “Har-Bowl.”

John’s Baltimore Ravens enter this Week 12 affair as 2.5-point road favorites at ESPN BET against Jim’s Chargers, the same number they opened at earlier in the week.

Baltimore climbed to three-point favorites in the middle of last week, but has since moved back to -2.5.

An ESPN BET spokesperson tells The Post that 64.8 percent of the money is on the Ravens.

BetMGM is reporting similar figures, with 75 percent of the money coming in on Baltimore against the spread.

Meanwhile, the total opened at 47.5 and has since moved to 50.5.

That’s probably fair, given the Ravens’ high-powered offense and poor second-half defensive showing by Los Angeles last week against the Bengals.

Ravens vs. Chargers prediction

“Monday Night Football” features two top-10 teams, according to defense-adjusted value over average (DVOA).

The Ravens rank No. 2 in DVOA behind only the Detroit Lions, while the Chargers are a strong team in their own right, ranking No. 8.

Baltimore has the highest-powered offense in the NFL by a long shot, averaging 7.0 yards per play on offense, despite a poor showing against the Steelers in Week 11, where they only scored just 16 points.

A big issue for the Ravens this season is their poor coverage down the field.

Baltimore has allowed 3,351 yards through the air, the most in the NFL, and they’ve allowed 22 passing touchdowns, the second-most in the league.

We’ve seen Jameis Winston have his best game of the season against the Ravens, with Cedric Tillman going for 99 yards and two touchdowns in a season-best game.

So we know that Justin Herbert is in a position to have a big night at the office, especially if Lamar Jackson is able to lead his squad to an early lead.

What this game comes down to is the Chargers’ defense reverting back to what it had been prior to getting roasted against the Bengals’ league-best passing attack.

DVOA believes they can stop the pass with the best in the league, ranking them No. 7 against the pass and No. 14 against the run.

Even average run defenses will struggle to deal with Jackson and Derrick Henry.

Betting on the NFL?

While Herbert has played exemplary football this season, he’s relied on his legs more than any time prior in his career.

Baltimore allows the fifth-fewest rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks per game (12.45) and is making life extremely difficult on rushing attacks overall.

The Ravens allow just 3.2 yards per carry, the best in the league.

PICK: Ravens -2.5 (-115, Bet365)
