New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys 2024, Week 12: Everything you need to know
The reeling New York Giants, fresh off an embarrassing 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, get the national spotlight on Sunday as they travel to Arlington, Texas to face the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day (4:30 p.m. ET/FOX).
The 2-9 Giants, losers of six straight games, are 3.5-point underdogs to the 4-7 Cowboys, who defeated the Washington Commanders 34-26 on Sunday to break a five-game losing streak of their own.
The game will feature a matchup of quarterbacks who were not expected to be starters for their teams. Cooper Rush will start in place Dak Prescott, who is out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery for a torn hamstring. Tommy DeVito will make a second straight start for the Giants, who benched and ultimately released Daniel Jones last week.
Dallas defeated the Giants 20-15 in Week 4 at MetLife Stadium.
Two Giants starting offensive linemen, left tackle Jermaine Eluemunor (quad) and right tackle Evan Neal (hip) did not practice on Monday.
The Giants have said they were “embarrassed” by their play against Tampa Bay. We will see if they can atone for it on Thanksgiving Day.
