Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors
Livvy Dunne is making the most of her Thanksgiving break by enjoying some time in the city that never sleeps.
On Sunday, December 1, the 22-year-old Louisiana State University gymnast shared an Instagram carousel with her 5.4 million followers, capturing all the holiday vibes from her NYC trip.
Most of the pictures in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model’s post were from a night out, where she rocked a sleek black-and-white outfit. She paired a black dress with boots and a leather jacket and accessorized with tights, a white bow, and white socks, showcasing her outfit in a few snaps taken in a car. Dunne shared some festive photos, including one of herself kissing a light-up snowman and two posing with friends in a place decked out with Christmas decorations. Of course, getting a bagel in New York is a must — and the NCAA champion included a snap of a plain bagel with orange juice. She finished the swipe with a sweet selfie showcasing her freckles.
The influencer captioned her post, “Sorry I missed your call,” and tagged NYC as the location.
Dunne’s friends, family, and teammates took to the comment section of her post to hype her up and joke around.
LSU teammate Kailin Chio commented, “i’ll call you back tmrw.”
“it’s ok i forgive u 😍,” joked influencer Katie Sigmond.
“Buckle up,” Dunne’s sister, Julz, teased in reference to the car photos.
The New Jersey native spent Thanksgiving with her loved ones as she posted an Instagram gallery from Belmar Beach, NJ, posing with her sister and dog last week. However, Dunne did not post any photos with her MLB player boyfriend, Paul Skenes.
The model’s relationship was recently scrutinized after she posted a TikTok on Monday, November 18, of the moment the 22-year-old Pittsburgh Pirates player won MLB Network’s 2024 Rookie of the Year. In the video, Dunne celebrates and gets excited while Skenes reacts very calmly, with fans calling their mismatched energy “awkward.” However, Dunne defended herself in the comment section, writing, “I was nervous like AHHHH.”
